UPDATE: City of Chicago Selects Bold Planning for City-wide COOP Initiative

The City of Chicago has selected Bold Planning Solutions and their Continuity of Operations Planning system, EMplans.com as the foundation for their city-wide continuity planning initiative. The multi-year project includes the participation of all City of Chicago departments and the goal of the project is to provide guidance to these departments in creating their Continuity of Operations Plans (COOP) as well as provide a long-term strategy for the City to maintain their COOPs. The EMplans.com system will serve a vital role in the projects strategy and will provide planners with a streamlined and standardized approach to creating their COOPs, reviewing the COOPs, and maintaining their COOPs over time.

Using the EMplans.com system as a base, Bold Planning Solutions has created a customized planning system designed to match the specific Continuity Planning requirements for the City of Chicago. This customized planning system has been deployed online at www.COOPChicago.com and will be made available to all City of Chicago departments for COOP development and ongoing plan maintenance.
